Capsule Collection: a high end accessory brand based around the concept of a capsule

CONCEPT DESIGN

In an effort to address the luxury markets challenges of maintaining exclusivity, balancing between innovation & tradition and providing a consistent brand image I developed Capsule Collection. Capsule Collection's foundations lie onto the exploration of shape, the capsule.  Using the minimalist yet sophisticated form of the capsule provides the distinguishing feature of exclusivity and to set Capsule Collection apart from other high-end accessory brands. The capsule represents a forward-thinking approach to luxury design while retaining an elegant and classic appeal and helps to create a very simple cohesive and recognizable brand identity. 

The development of the Capsule Concept

The idea for Capsule Collection stemmed from the desire to address the luxury markets challenges of maintaining exclusivity, balancing between innovation & tradition and providing a consistent brand image. I wanted to create a brand that stands out in the luxury market through innovative design and classic elegance with very strong brand image foundations based on a simple shape.

I used the Capsule shape, recognizable by its elongated, cylindrical shape with rounded ends, for its simple form, its functionality and modern appeal. By combining the traditional branding elements of luxury brands with a contemporary twist, Capsule Collection can appeal to a clientele that values innovation as much as heritage

Capsule Collection product lines: les Parfums

As the first product line of Capsule Collection I decided to choose a parfum range to demonstrate the brands luxurious foundation. 

Les Parfums is a collection of six scents in capsule shape with unique flavour bouquets.

Accompanying the parfum range, the second product of Capsule Collection is a lipstick line in four colors.

For the third product, I wanted to use a different approach to demonstrate that not all Capsule Collection products need to be in capsule shape. The sunglasses Model 24 adopts the brands identity in color and fluid shape. The packaging of the sunglasses, an elegant capsule shaped glasses case, takes up the brands unique feature again to maintain exclusivity and recognisability.

Introducing the Capsule Collection packaging bag, where style meets practicality. Featuring a transparent section, for the Capsule Collection packaging I wanted to create a bag which displays newly acquired luxury item right away.
